Fire In My Bones

In the name of that Great Ancient Providence …

It is that time of year again. It’s time for me to exit gracefully, stage left, and go ghost for about four days, and four nights. When I return, amazing things will be taking shape. But for that four days, I will be off-grid. And I will be ShamanWitching the shish out of those four days! LOL

What is the link between my annual Beltane Sabbatical, and Shamanism?

How Often Should You Do A House Blessing?

Having bought our own house, and moved into it, I remembered that certain things need to done. It’s been a few years since I did a House Blessing of any kind, so it’s time.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that, as a renter, you should probably do a House Blessing more often. I’d recommend at least once every six to nine months.

I’ll tell you why in a moment, but first, I want to talk a little bit about the difference between my method of House Blessing, and most.

Be As Woo As You Want

So I’ve kind of let the entire month of February, 2018, go by without posting a single blog entry.

First: my apologies to my avid readers.

Second: my blog is part of my business, so I should know better than to neglect it.

Third: (though this isn’t an excuse) I’ve been a bit busy.

I’ll tell you what I’ve been up to, but first, I need to apologize (for something else) to my FamTribe.

The GBMO Ritual

Why should you do a full ritual for an offering? Is it ever really necessary?

To be all the way honest, yes, I sometimes do a full-on ritual. I do a daily ritual, anyhow – a “daily devotional” – but it’s nothing like the full-on ritual. It doesn’t feel quite as amazing, either, but it still gets results. (That’s a topic for another post, though.)

The Mother Of Us All

Let me just say: 2017, was definitely a year of the unexpected.

Not that it was a bad year for me, necessarily … just some unexpected things happened.

Now, granted, I have been fairly open about my political leanings. And you’re smart, so you know what I mean by that statement.

But if we get right down to brass tacks, the fact of the matter is: those unexpected things will likely affect you and I very little. If we’re Witches worth our salt, anyhow.

4 Mistakes Almost Everyone Makes With Prosperity Magic

This post is part of the Strategic Sorcery Blog Hop. This go-round, our topic is financial/money magick. Just below this paragraph, you’ll find the links to the Previous and Next posts in the list, plus the Master List, itself. I hope you enjoy everyone’s take on money and finances!

Previous | Master List | Next

I don’t claim to be an expert at money magick. We’re all teachers in some sense, but we’re all also students. And the real truth of it is: money is one of the weirdest, most explosive, and hardest-to-pin topics for a lot of people. There’s always going to be something new to learn about money, and money magick. And our relationship to money magick, and why we think it should be easy and instantaneous. (Self-growth-work: it helps a lot, try it out.)

3 Kinds Of Petitions And How To Use Them

Do you suck at magick with petitions? You, my friend, are not alone. Obviously, if you can write a petition, and you know what works for you, and you don’t have any problems with petition magick, then maybe this particular post isn’t for you.

But the fact is: a lot of people judge themselves harshly when they have trouble writing what would be considered a “good” petition. When you follow all the status quo rules, you sometimes end up blocking yourself. But that’s probably a different post, so on with the show …
